The channel's monthly expenses exceed US $100,000.

This covers the rising cost of the satellite capacity that carries the Gospel around the world, the many ways we stay in touch with viewers and meet their needs, and the high cost of production that keeps our programs at the standard viewers expect. We urgently need to hire new technical staff, as the workload has outgrown the current team, and to replace and renew some equipment and studio sets.

We have a carefully studied plan — lacking only funding — to separate the broadcast feed for different regions of the world, respecting time differences and viewers' cultural backgrounds, with specialized programming for every age group. Al Horreya has also received many films and specialized media materials that need Arabic translation, which is costly, as well as raw footage of its own that is waiting to be edited.

The channel relies entirely on the support of its viewer-partners and has no other source of funding.
